5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Reception for the Presiding Bishop & Bonnie Anderson
6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. - A Service of Healing & Forgiveness
7:15 p.m. - Q & A with the Presiding Bishop
This will be a wonderful time for us to get better acquainted with each other and the Presiding Bishop. We will also participate in a special Evening Prayer service, offering prayers for our healing for ourselves and our diocese.

Declaration of Quorum and organized for business
Presiding Bishop calls for ratification of the following appointments:
Chairman Nominations Committee: Ms. Cindy Smith
Chairman Resolutions Committee: The Rev. Keith Axberg
Parliamentarian: Mr. Michael Glass, esq.
Dispatch of Business: The Rev. Glenn Kanestrom
Treasurer: Mr. Tom VanderWal
Secretary of Convention: Ms. Juanita Weber
Presiding Bishop’s Remarks
Presiding Bishop appoints as Chairman of the Convention: The Rev. Mark Hall
Dispatch of Business moves to adopt Agenda including Consent Items:
Consent Items:
Motion to allow Dispatch of Business flexibility in presenting agenda.
Motion to allow Dispatch of Business to limit debate as required.
Resolution to put aside any irregularities in calling convention.
Resolution to adopt as valid for Diocese the Constitution as amended to 2001; and the Canons, as amended 2003.
Recognition of, and for seat and voice of clergy licensed, but not canonically resident.
Recognition of Special Guests and Official Observers
Introduction of President, House of Deputies, Mrs. Bonnie Anderson.
Chairman of Resolutions moves:
Resolution to confirm the nomination of The Right Reverend Jerry A. Lamb as Provisional Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin
Admission to seat, voice and vote clergy who have presented Letters Dismissory which have been accepted by the Bishop.
Admission of new missions, duly constituted.
Report of Nominations Committee

Delegates to General Convention 2009
Call for nominations from the floor and introduction of all candidates.
Recess for voting and caucus of deaneries.

Motion to adjourn for Eucharist and seating of the provisional bishop
NOTE: Clergy of the diocese are invited to vest and process for the Convention Eucharist. Please bring white stoles and white chasubles. Please note: a chasuble may be made available for your use if you do not have one.
