The Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin - Reception & Special Convention
The Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church, has called a special meeting of the Convention of the episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin (formal notice, PDF 75 Kb). The special convention will be held March 29, 2008 and will be located at:

The purpose of this meeting is to elect a provisional Bishop of the Diocese and to elect members of the Standing Committee, Council and other officers of the Diocese, adopt a budget, and consideration of other resolutions.
In addition, on Friday, March 28 there will be a reception and healing service with the Presiding Bishop and Bonnie Anderson, president of the House of Deputies, at St. Anne’s in Stockton. For more information or to register, please see below:
