The Society of The Magi was created as an umbrella legacy society to promote and support the faithful stewardship of God’s gifts and resources in our diocese. While created in the Diocese of Indianapolis, it is also found in the Diocese of Nevada and other dioceses. The Society provides recognition for those who have named Episcopal Churches, Institutions, or Dioceses as Beneficiaries in their estate plans. Some Congregations also have developed societies to recognize and honor those who are supporting the institution through legacies.

Money from a planned gift goes directly to the beneficiary church or institution. No funds go to the diocese unless the diocese is a named beneficiary. Verify the proper wording with your Estate Planner or lawyer.
